How to actually prepare for the PTE
PTE Academic is fully computer-based and AI-scored, and its integrated tasks test two skills at once — your spoken fluency can affect your reading score and vice versa. That's the insight most people miss: practise the integrated task types, not isolated skills. Results also arrive fast, often within a couple of days.
Build a 3–4 week plan: start with a scored mock, then drill the highest-weight tasks (Read Aloud, Repeat Sentence, Retell Lecture, Summarize Written Text). Speak clearly at a steady pace — the AI rewards consistent fluency over a 'perfect' accent, and long pauses cost you more than small slips.
