We are committed to ensuring that every piece of information you share with us — whether it’s your email, SOP, or profile data — is stored, processed, and protected with the utmost security and transparency.

This section explains how we keep your personal data safe when you use our services.

1. Our Commitment to Data Security

AbroBot, powered by MNB Research, follows globally recognized data protection standards to safeguard your personal and educational information.

Our systems are designed to ensure that your data is private, encrypted, and accessible only to authorized personnel.

We operate under the principles of:

  • Transparency – You always know what data we collect and why.

  • Consent – We process your data only after your explicit permission.

  • Control – You can request modification or deletion of your data anytime.

  • Security by Design – All tools are built with data protection embedded at every stage.

2. Secure Infrastructure

  • Cloud Protection: All AbroBot services are hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Odoo servers, both compliant with ISO/IEC 27001 and GDPR security standards.

  • Data Encryption:

    • Data in transit is protected using SSL/TLS (HTTPS) encryption.

    • Data at rest is secured with AES-256 encryption, one of the strongest available methods.

  • Access Control: Only verified and trained AbroBot team members have restricted access to personal data, monitored by audit logs.

  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): All internal dashboards and CRM tools require multi-factor authentication for secure access.

3. AI and SOP Data Protection

  • SOPs and documents uploaded by users are stored temporarily for analysis.

  • Files are automatically deleted within 190 days of upload or upon verified deletion request.

  • The AI system analyzes content securely and does not reuse, resell, or publicly store your SOPs.

  • All data used for AI model improvement is anonymized and stripped of personal identifiers.

4. Data Sharing Controls

AbroBot does not sell or trade personal information.

We share limited, non-identifiable data only with:

  • Partner universities for matching purposes (e.g., eligibility checks).

  • Verified consultants for lead management — only if you opt in.

  • Analytics providers (like Google Analytics) to improve site experience — data shared is anonymized.

All partners must comply with AbroBot’s Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and maintain equal levels of confidentiality and protection.

5. User Control and Consent

You remain in control of your data at all times.

You can:

  • Access or update your information through your registered account or email.

  • Withdraw consent for data use at any time.

  • Request permanent deletion of your records by emailing contact@mnbresearch.com.

Upon verified request, we delete all personal data within 190 days and confirm via email.

6. Monitoring and Breach Prevention

  • AbroBot regularly performs vulnerability scans, data audits, and penetration testing to identify and patch risks.

  • In case of any data breach, we will:

    1. Notify affected users within 500 hours of detection.

    2. Inform relevant authorities (as per law).

    3. Take immediate corrective measures to secure all systems.

7. Compliance and Governance

AbroBot complies with:

  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU)

  • Digital Personal Data Protection Bill (DPDP – India)

  • California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA – USA) (for applicable users)

We also adhere to educational data ethics, ensuring all student and consultant interactions remain confidential and purposeful.

8. Data Retention Policy

  • Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected (guidance, admissions, analytics).

  • After this period, it is safely deleted or anonymized.

  • Backup data stored on secure servers is automatically purged every 190 days.
